He is a very handsome white and brown tabby cat, full of love and ready to be your new housemate. Buffy is a very big kitty, almost 30 pounds! His elderly owner can no longer take care of him, so if we can't find a home soon he will be put down. We don't want that to happen!.

Tripp and Chaco
June 2008
Several weeks ago we adopted 2 new family members (i.e. cats) from you...Tripp (we kept his name) and Chaco (formerly Bambi). Tripp is a black Main Coon between 1-2 years old with a previous back leg injury. Chaco is a Siamese-Cross that was about 10 wks. old when we got him.
Both cats had a respiratory virus when we got them, but after a couple of trips to the vet, antibiotics and some anti-viral medication, they both seem to be doing well now. Both cats had baths when they came home, and we got Tripp a summer lion cut so that we could get rid of the mats in his fur.
You had asked us to e-mail some photos so that you could see how the cats are doing in their new home. They have adjusted well, love each other's company, and are learning to put up with all of the hugs, kisses, and carrying around that they must endure! You can be sure that they are both very loved in their new family!
Sincerely, Linda
Update: April 26, 2011
In 2008 we adopted two cats from you. Tripp and Chaco quickly became very loved members of the family and soon were joined by Princess, a beautiful gray stray without a home. Last spring, one of our neighbors accidentally ran over Chaco with his car. Chaco sustained severe injuries and had to be put to sleep. The whole family was devastated. Chaco was a very loving cat. He loved to crawl under the bed covers and snuggle up close to us. He made friends with all of the neighbors and would visit them on a regular basis. They all loved him because he was so friendly, and several neighbors cried upon hearing of Chaco's death. Chaco even made friends with the neighborhood dogs and wasn't afraid of them. We were always afraid for Chaco because of his curious and friendly nature. He would explore people's cars, sneak in their garages, and even slip into their houses if they left a door open! But no one could get mad at Chaco because he was so cute and loving. Chaco was also very spirited and loved to play and to antagonize his brother and sister! He would corner Princess and just wait for her to move so that he could pounce on top of her. You have a picture of Tripp and Chaco on the front page of your web site under success stories. We are sad that Chaco's life was cut short, but while he was with us he lived life to the fullest and was very loved. Here are some pictures.
Sincerely,
Linda
In loving memory of Chaco....
