Featured Pet of the Month
Kyme
Kyme was found January 30th 2008.
She had not been lost very long as she was in fairly good condition when she
was found. Her owners, however,
were never found!

Such beautiful markings too!
She did have some wounds
that have long since healed.

She is sweet as sugar, a gentle disposition, and a lap warmer.
She is also good with other cats. A nice warm, loving, forever home is all she needs now. A fellow senior would
be fantastic!

If you would like to meet Kyme,
please contact the fine folks at HHP.

Scout
April 2008

Hello All,

Thought I would send you this picture of Scout I took this morning.  As you can see, this is his favorite place to lay ... on our sofa.  We still really love this scottie you helped us get !!!

Take Care,
Wayne and Margaret
Coeurd'Alene, Idaho

P.S. When he first came to us, we called him Scoutie McDougall, but he has decided he likes Scoutie Rhubarb better ... for the red coming out in his beard!  Go Figure.
October 2006:
I think you will remember us, we are the couple who came from Washington state to adopt Baby Girl now know as Lisa.  Well today is her 1 year birthday and we went to the park to celebrate with a picnic.  The girls had Arby’s junior (hold the bun) each.

Thought you would like to know Lisa is happy and has a loving home.  She has found her spot in the pack and is trying to be a good girl most of the time.

June 2006:
Well she has been with us a week now and all of us couldn’t be happier.

She is a great dog and very smart.  She has bonded to us completely.  She has learned many things in a short time.  She has learned to lay by the couch, her couch. She has also learned to sleep on the bed dnd to tear up her toys. (We are working on that one)

And generally she is a happy puppy that is a joy (most times) to be around. Thanks again for a great dog.

Zoey
April 2008

I wanted to let you know that we LOVE our kitten that we adopted through you a month an a half ago. It turned out he was actually a she and is now named Zoey. She is so adorable, we love her to pieces! She is a very spoiled kitten. She was from the litter that Mary fostered back in January. Just wanted to thank you for such a sweet kitten and if you talk to Mary tell her she was a wonderful foster Mom.

She is keeping the other two cats on their toes that is for sure. She loves our white cat, they play all day long, it is so cute to watch. She is such a wonderful addition to our family.

I have attached a picture of her for you to see. Thanks again!

Mason and Chevy
April 2008

I held each of them in my arms/hands and cuddled/rubbed and cooed at each. Chevy always has such 'I could just melt in your arms mommy' eyes. Mason just relaxes to the rub.

OH, OH, OH! I need to tell you ... Mason and Chevy shared a dish today without any problems. Chevy even intruded onto Mason's dinner and not a growl was heard! Whoever said Mason MAY be food aggressive was likely guessing.

-- Carolyn --

Mason was part of the Billings Animal Shelter "Save-A-Life" program.  He is loving his new chance on life.  The Billings Animal Shelter and Help For Homeless Pets are glad they could make this happen for him.  Chevy was a hard luck dog nobody seemed to want.  He had lots of energy and not much training.  He is now using his herding instincts and helps his new mom bring the horses home from the outside pasture.

Rowdy and Maggie Mae
May 2008

Rowdy and Maggie Mae are now living in Rapid City, South Dakota and are having the time of their lives.

On nice warm day, when the windows are open, and they are checking out what is in back yard.

The picture with them on table (Where they know they are not supposed to be) where I caught them when I came home from work one afternoon. So they are like, what you doing home early, and what do you mean we can't be up here, "we didn't know that!", Yea right!

Autumn and Lola
June 2008

These two cats, Autumn and Lola,  were hardluck cats that got adopted to a nice family after about 4 months... don't know why nobody picked them.  Their turn finally came and looks like they are loving it.  Both had a very bad start in life and really deserve a cushy future.
