He is a very handsome white and brown tabby cat, full of love and ready to be your new housemate. Buffy is a very big kitty, almost 30 pounds! His elderly owner can no longer take care of him, so if we can't find a home soon he will be put down.  We don't want that to happen!.

Skyla
March 2010

Skyla is settling in super and last night (would have been third night she was here) all the kids  (cats and her) were on bed at same time for a short period of time.  She sure loves to go for walks and that is great for both her and I and in fact, have been sleeping better (or able to fall asleep easier) the past couple of nights.

she is super housetrained and that has been such a help and several times now she jumps on the little stand where leash is to let me know she needs to go out.  Also she is not a barker which is a huge help also; even when outside when there is other dogs barking or she sees other people.

I have to tell you a funny little story; the other day, when the cats wanted to get close or on my lap she would growl and in fact one time, charged at the kitty (think it was lily)....I told her no the first time and decided to try something new the next time; I growled at her and she made another growling sound at kitty (not me) and growled a little louder; she has only growled at kitties once or twice since then and stops when I tell her to!  Yesterday, made sure that all the kitties got on my lap and got some love, while telling Skyla loved her also so no one feels left out.

Thanks and please take care
Lynda and the kids
