He is a very handsome white and brown tabby cat, full of love and ready to be your new housemate. Buffy is a very big kitty, almost 30 pounds! His elderly owner can no longer take care of him, so if we can't find a home soon he will be put down. We don't want that to happen!.

Penny (formerly known as Tandy)
February 10, 2010
Hello! We changed Tandy's name to Penny and she is doing great. We took her to the vet on Tuesday because she has a few bald spots and has been itching at them like crazy. The vet couldn't find anything under a microscope but thought it was maybe deep mites, very dry skin from all the hormonal changes with pregnancy, and stress so we have her on antibiotics and are treating her appropriately. She loves the bed & blanket we've given her, destroyed her toy squirrel already, only had one accident in the house and is slowly learning shoes aren't chew toys (after ruining one of my husband's slippers). She hates car rides (understandable with the trunk incident) but does excellent on or off a leash which is so nice, she stays close and keeps us in her sight. Our daughter absolutely LOVES her and they are becoming good friends. She still seems a little exhausted from all the changes but we've shown her all the love in the world and plenty of patience to help her settle in and get used to the swing of things in her new home. We really love her and are very thankful we found her. This is her forever home!
