He is a very handsome white and brown tabby cat, full of love and ready to be your new housemate. Buffy is a very big kitty, almost 30 pounds! His elderly owner can no longer take care of him, so if we can't find a home soon he will be put down.  We don't want that to happen!.

Oreo
September 2008

Dear Angie,
We adopted Oreo immediately after calling you to ask for a black and white cat.  You were right, he is the perfect cat for us.

Oreo is very social and quite the talker, chirping and trilling.  He looked right into our faces the day we met him.  He follows us from room to room and howls when we put him in his room alone.

He is very attached to his people right now.  He used to jump on our backs (no claws out) for a ride, but we decided to stop that.  He listens pretty well to scolding.

Oreo has been with us for one week and is allowed supervised exploring trips around the house now.

He has met our resident cat (adopted 3 weeks ago) and he wants to be friends with her.  She's rather  defensive but he's not afraid of her growling and spitting.
We are really happy with him and think he is exactly what we were looking for.  Thank you for everything you do.

Here's a picture of him playing tug of war with his mouse.  Thank you for the "starter" toys you included in your adoption pack.
