He is a very handsome white and brown tabby cat, full of love and ready to be your new housemate. Buffy is a very big kitty, almost 30 pounds! His elderly owner can no longer take care of him, so if we can't find a home soon he will be put down. We don't want that to happen!.

Inka
April 2010
Inka definitely has a home here. We'll make sure she is fed well, loved and has lots of fun. I'm still scared she'll run off without thought, but I'm hoping her attachment to us will keep her in check when we hike. She's a smart dog and will learn, I'm sure. She just loses her head in the excitement. We had another treadmill lesson--its storming outside today. She went 8 minutes. After 10 minutes of rest she got back on the treadmill herself, stood there and stared at me. So she went another 8 minutes before she told me she was done. Quite interesting, huh? We'll consider another dog as a companion for her. My neighbor and I had talked quite awhile back about making a gate in our shared fence so our dogs could play. We'll see.
Update: June 2010
We're all very happy!
Inka is being challenged. Its so awsome to see her expand her curiosity in new ways. She's a wonderful dog. We've got a ways to go but we're going!
She's filling out and getting healthy. And she barks just fine!
Ingrid
Update: Sept. 14, 2010
I wanted to thank you and all the other people who saved my little dog's life. She has such a wonderful spirit that shines more and more as she learns her world. When I see her run, bounce and bark with such joy at being home I thank you for all your efforts to get her here. You are my hero.
Sincerely, Ingrid
