Reba
Reba was found living on the side of the road. She was very starved and neglected. There was nothing in site for miles and she appeared to have been nested down there for awhile. A kind pet Angel rescued her but could not keep her. She had hundreds of ticks all over her body also had fleas. After a good flea and tick bath, her pet angels brought her to HELP FOR HOMELESS PETS to find a new loving home. Despite what she has been through she is the most gentle loving dog you could find. She is great with other dogs and cats too loves kids.  She loves to eat and especially likes any kind of treats you give her. She is so gentle also when she takes her treats. She does not bark much, just a very well mannered dog.

She looks to possibly have some Brittany spaniel in her. She would be an excellent companion or family pet. We do prefer she has a fenced yard. We will update pictures as she gains weight as we realize right now she does not look her best. We believe she will be a loyal, beautiful dog when she overcomes all her misfortune. Adopt fee.

Griz
March 2009

Griz is great.  We went hiking yesterday and Griz helped us pull out a small sled of gear. We all had a ball.  Griz played with every dog on the trail. One couple had 5 dogs  a Pitt, a Manchester terrier. lab and some other mixes. He played with labs and a giant poodle too.  We hiked around Wild Bill lake and around. Had a fire and  cooked  out over the fire. Griz chased a couple squirrels.

Griz is about the friendliest dog in the world. He has never meet a dog he doesn't like and want to play with.  Down at Two Moons he found a buddy in a huge doberman the other day. They wrestled so hard all the dogs looked like mud pies including my dachshund Snickers.

Thanks Joanna

Griz-DNA
Griz's DNA Results:

Well its back and its official.  Griz is  37-74% Rottweiler  10-19 % Bulldog  & 10-19% Poodle.  YES I said Poodle.   I was in shock.    They do not differentiate  between the bulldog breeds for legal reasons  so the bulldog could be English or Pitt Bull.  I figure a little PIT but I was slapped down silly when I read they found Poodle in Griz . LOL.    Jed says not to tell anyone. Maybe that is why he doesn't shed. He doesn't . I never notice a hair of shed at all.  Poodles do not shed.
