He is a very handsome white and brown tabby cat, full of love and ready to be your new housemate. Buffy is a very big kitty, almost 30 pounds! His elderly owner can no longer take care of him, so if we can't find a home soon he will be put down. We don't want that to happen!.

Gauge formerly known as Judah
November 2009
This young German Shepherd Dog went on to be a police dog decoy and will be trained for search and rescue. Kind of cool story. He originally was getting too protective of his family at 1.5 years and they had to give him up. He is now with Treasure County Police Dept. He rides in a patrol car all day and has a nice home when he is off.
Update:
February 16, 2010
Judah is doing very well! Deputy Blakesley is working with him every day and has his obedience training pretty much done. I have given her a training video on tracking and she is looking forward to get his training started this spring. She has had him tracking her but now she just needs to get him started on tracking unknown scents. He has put on, I would guess at least twenty pound and is a very even tempered K-9. I have helped her a little bit in training him to arm bite for officer protection. He does well on the getting a hold of the coat but we need to work on the full mouth bite. We train our K-9s in a game playing way so they don't take on a aggressive personality and they just think it is all in fun.
Thank you,
Treasure County Sheriff
