He is a very handsome white and brown tabby cat, full of love and ready to be your new housemate. Buffy is a very big kitty, almost 30 pounds! His elderly owner can no longer take care of him, so if we can't find a home soon he will be put down.  We don't want that to happen!.

Dude
January 12, 2010

First of all, I want to thank you for taking care of Dude. For the last year we thought he was living in the home of a friend. When I found him on your website, I started to cry. My husband said there was no way Dude was still there. Well he was!

The ride home was loud and Dude seems not to care much for car rides! We got him home and he did laps around the house to get his bearings. He finally settled on the end of the sofa by my face! He napped for about 20 minutes and found his new litter box. He cried a couple of times and was reassured by my 3 year old that he didn't need to be sad because he has his home back. Dude slept on the foot of the bed and didn't move all night. What a blessing it is to have our family complete once more.

We got him a collar and a fancy new litter box. He also got some yummy treats for being a good boy. He is trying to get used to a 3 year old petting him and has scolded her a couple of times when he has had enough. He keeps  his claws in and bats at her leg. I am sure they will find some middle ground soon enough! I am on heavy doses of allergy medication. Did I mention I am allergic to cats? Well it doesn't matter because I love him so!
