Bingo

June 2011

Bingo, the older gent, was relocated as he didn't like his new "in town" location.  He just wasn't cut out to be left alone, even for a couple of hours.  He howled and really irritated the neighbors as well as the old cat who refused to "warm up to him."

Bingo really LUCKED out though, as one of the nurse's clients fell in love with him.  He is an old rancher/cowboy that told her "that dog needs to be with ME." Bingo now spends the night in Billings where he goes to visit the nursing home where this gent's wife lives.  Then they drive out to his ranch to check on his cattle and Bingo gets to run and play with the ranch hand's Chesapeake Retriever.  Then they return home and rest up for the next day!

Bingo is 11 and his new friend is 84!  Who says there isn't "someone for everyone?"  Seems they were meant for each other.

Update:  August 22, 2011

Bingo and Ed are quite a pair!  As you can see, they get around quite well for their ages!  Ed is 84 or 85? and drives himself everywhere.  In fact he drove his 192? Ford pickup to Powell today for the big ta-do at the Heart Mountain Japanese Camp festivities, as it was one of the original trucks used inside the Heart Mountain camp.

I can go to WalMart and download some of these if you want prints, but you need to let me know soon as I have to remove them from my camera.  Will keep these on file on my computer and can email them etc.

Bingo is certainly a happy dog.... and as you can see from the pictures he loves Ed very much.  I think your dad would be very happy to see Bingo in such a great home.  They are both pretty scary though... don't know who will get killed first, Ed out there driving, or Bingo out running around with no leash!
