UPCOMING EVENTS

Cat & Kitten Adoption
We have cats and kittens at Petsmart everyday.  Sometimes on weekends, we will take some puppies and dogs to Petsmart to get adopted.
Reba
Reba was found living on the side of the road. She was very starved and neglected. There was nothing in site for miles and she appeared to have been nested down there for awhile. A kind pet Angel rescued her but could not keep her. She had hundreds of ticks all over her body also had fleas. After a good flea and tick bath, her pet angels brought her to HELP FOR HOMELESS PETS to find a new loving home. Despite what she has been through she is the most gentle loving dog you could find. She is great with other dogs and cats too loves kids.  She loves to eat and especially likes any kind of treats you give her. She is so gentle also when she takes her treats. She does not bark much, just a very well mannered dog.

She looks to possibly have some Brittany spaniel in her. She would be an excellent companion or family pet. We do prefer she has a fenced yard. We will update pictures as she gains weight as we realize right now she does not look her best. We believe she will be a loyal, beautiful dog when she overcomes all her misfortune. Adopt fee.

Belle
March 2009

Hi,

I thought the staff would like to know that Tori has found a forever home with the Kristiansen’s in Sheridan, WY.  We saw her in PetSmart in Billings on Friday.

She is a very loving and well adjusted cat and is doing quite well in our multi cat household.   This picture shows her sleeping on my daughter’s bed Friday night.

We have renamed her Belle as in Beauty and the Beast due to her beautiful coloring and nature.

We will give her much love and the best care we can provide.  We have built an outside enclosure with shelves and ledges for the cats to play in safely so when spring does arrive she will be able to go outside and enjoy the nice weather but also will be safe from roads and other animals.

Sincerely,

Elaine

Hi,

Thought you would like some more pictures of Belle – she is adjusting well at our home. She will really enjoy the outside enclosure as soon as the snow is gone – since we got 10 inches today it could be awhile so the cats won’t be able to use it.

She is eating well here – I work at a pet store so get a discount on high quality pet food and she has found a brand she really likes. She likes the moist fish packets of Whiskas also.

She let me brush her tonight so her fur is all pretty now and likes sleeping in our daughter’s room where she has a blue bed on top of a dresser.

She seems very laid back but also spends a lot of time just being observant to our household.

Just wanted you to know how well she is adjusting here.

Elaine

Belle has made a new friend here- his name is Padfoot and yes, they are sleeping on our stove.  Belle may have to go on a diet soon - she is eating very well and adjusting quite well.  Last month my daughter and husband were on a business trip for two days and Belle threw up constantly.  Last week they were both gone again for 2 days and no throwing up.  I think she has finally accepted that we always come back and she is here in a forever home.

Have a good day.

Update: February 6, 2010

Hi Angie,

Thought I would give you an update on Belle - she has developed arthritis in her lower back and also an infection where the arthritis is.  She sometimes has accidents in her bed.  We had her spine  aligned along with a laser therapy session (a very warm massage) and she is on Baytril for 2 weeks.  We will take care of her no matter what and she is very loved here.  We do need to get a bit of extra weight off her so we are looking forward to spring when we can walk around the back yard which is fenced.

Sincerely,

Elaine and Belle
