Bear

March 2010

So far, Bear is doing great. He seems to be already housetrained. As soon as we got on the road home he layed down and rode great, he either slept or looked out the window the whole way. When we got home we walked a bit and then came in. I gave him a bath and he was a perfect gentleman and then we played tug until bed time and he curled right up on the foot of the bed and went right to sleep. My son and him are getting to know one another slowly but it is going really well, he moves very slow and careful with my son.

Update:  June 2010

Bear has been doing great. He is even getting to where he socializes with other dogs some althought we have to be very careful with this he has made a couple canine friends. We have also found that he loves hill climbing and is very good at finding fox dens for us. We have to be pretty careful about him getting lose with livestock but we are working on that too and while it is definatly taking some time he is making progress.

Thank you again for helping us find our newest family member.
