Aberdare aka Hammer

January 21, 2011

Thank you Angie for your email.  Hilton did receive the offer of help.  We are really delighted with Aberdare, (Aber for short)  He is so smart he responds to his new name which we are sort of introducing. It is a welsh name and national park in Kenya. He is such cool dog.  He has been a delight.  The dogie bathing place on Central that your son told me about was closed and Petsmart would have shaved him completely!  But they told us about a place on Grand at the Evergreen shopping center.  He was quite a show and three of us worked on him with different combs.  He is beautiful.  I am hoping his hair grows back in on his neck and back. We are exercising him at an enclosed ball field to reinforce the "come". Because we live on a Park and he took off a little.  We will later take him to the fantastic dog park Livingston has with a stream and fields and woods.  About 40 acres large.  I am so excited about giving him a good life.  Maybe not perfect as nothing is but he is a"Happy, Happy dog". Thank you again, I wish we could have adopted him earlier, but thing happen for a reason.

Again, thanks for all you are doing and also to your staff who were so loving and expressed that concerning this beautiful dog.  Judy
