This is Abby. We adopted her in April of 2000. She is the best kitty (doesn't every pet parent say that??)!! We've been thru alot in the last 10, almost 11 years! She started out as a rambunctious little girl and I wondered what I got myself into. Now she is a mellow girl with small bursts of wildness. She has definitely taught me that I cannot control everything in my life! She kept me sane when my husband was deployed to Iraq and has given me bounds of love. Over the years she has acquired lots of nicknames from plain ol' Abs to Tootie to Abigail to Sassy Brat. Every one who meets her loves her. My neighbors love when we go out of town so they can come take care of her. She's happiest when curled up on one of her heated kitty beds or in a lap. Right now she's a little miffed because we adopted an 8 year old lab this past spring. The dog doesn't bother her in the least but her moods swing between thinking the dog is going to eat her to "this is MY house and I'M in charge". It's quite humorous sometimes. Thank you for letting us adopt such a wonderful girl!!
